INSHORE FISHING TRIPS (Up to 20nm from the inlet)

WRECK / REEF Fishing         $650 (Leave 6:30am Returns early afternoon)
On typical inshore wreck trips the majority of the catch will be Blackfish AKA Tautog & Seabass. Wreck fishing is good year round with the best catches coming in the spring / early summer and fall / winter. Mid summer expect to catch mainly Seabass. We will mainly be anchored for this type of fishing, however sometimes it is better to drift depending on the season.
BLUEFISH Trolling   $700    (Leave 6:30am Returns early afternoon)

Expect to fish 6 to 20 miles from shore on lumps, ridges, holes to find these hard fighting fish.

STRIPER          Prices range from $600 to $800 (Leaves at various times, returns early afternoon)

Anglers can expect to catch schoolie size fish to trophy bass on this trip. We target bass a number of ways such as trolling, jigging, live bait, casting and chunking. Fly rodders also welcome as this is a great species to catch on the long rod! Best times are spring and fall.

BLUEFISH Chumming             $750 (Leave 6:30am Returns early afternoon)

On this type of trip we will start out trolling until we locate the fish. We will then stop the boat and drift or anchor and set up a chum slick to attract the fish to the boat. Often we will get a chance for a shark! Of course fly rods are always welcome for these hard fishing fish.

SHARK Fishing (Seasonal)    $750    (Leave 6:30am Returns early afternoon)

Thresher Sharks are the targeted species on these trips. The past few years have been very good for this hard fishing fish. Best times are May and June and the fish can be big, up too 300lbs! Expect to fish anywhere from 5 to 20 miles off the beach. We will be drifting or anchored and chumming for these sharks. Bluefish are often caught on these trips as well.

OFFSHORE FISHING TRIPS (Beyond 20 miles)

SHARK Fishing (Seasonal)    $1300 to $1500           (Leave 6:00am Returns late afternoon)

Targeted species on this trip is the elusive Mako Shark. This hard fighting, high flying fish is a great catch no matter the size. Expect to fish 20-60 miles from shore on this type of trip. We may also catch other species of shark such as Blue's, Threshers, & Tigers. We will likely also encounter Bluefish as they are attracted to the chum slick. Fly rods welcome for the skillful angler!

CANYON      Prices range from $1500 to $2500   (Leaves Pre-dawn returns evening)

Canyon trips are reserved for experienced anglers only. Available from June to November. We have a number of different options available. Contact Capt. Bill if you are interested in this type of trip.

SPECIALITY TRIPS

Capt. Bill would be pleased to announce his specialty trips for the 2009 season. Fishing is a passion and many of us have been bitten badly. These trips are for the diehard fisherman in search of trophy catches. I can also accommodate virtually any request of the customer if you have a specialty trip in mind. Please feel free to contact Capt. Bill to discuss. Listed below are Capt. Bill's favorite specialty trips.

DOORMAT FLUKE Prices start at $650

Some seasons they are right out front of our inlet and others not. Capt. Bill is committed to catching you BIG FLUKE on these trips. Leave your small minnows home as we will be fishing big strips of bait (up to 14") as well as various live baits. We will fish anywhere from 5 miles to 60 miles from the inlet up and down the coast. Capt. Bill is known for finding BIG FLUKE!

BULLDOG BLACKFISH    Prices start at $650

The past few seasons we have seen incredible Blackfishing and I would be pleased to offer this type of trip to my customers. We will only be targeting Blackfish on this trip and will be fishing up to 30 miles from shore. Expect long days and long runs to the fishing grounds. On any given day we can fish as far to the Southwest as the Delaware / Maryland border and as far to the Northeast up off of Barnegat. Other days we will run right out of the inlet, it all depends on the fishing. In case youre wondering, of course we will be double anchored right on the spot!

GORRILLA BLUES Prices start at $650

If youre a serious fan of Bluefishing you will want to take this trip. We will likely journey to the premier bluefishing grounds known as the Barnegat Ridge. This 45 mile ride from the inlet is usually very rewarding. If the fish are somewhere else within range we will make that voyage instead. Limit catches are very common either by trolling or chumming. A blast on light tackle & fly rods!

BONITO / ALBIES Price start at $650

If you are a skillful angler and like the challenge of light line fishing you will want to take this trip. Bonito and Albacore are fast running, hard fighting fish with exceptional vision. You will need to fish light leaders to get these guys to bite. Once hooked up they surely will provide a drag running experience! Excellent on fly or spin tackle. We will troll or chum based on fishing conditions.

JUMBO SEABASS   Prices start at $650

Our Jumbo Seabass trips are my favorite trips. I pride myself on constantly bringing in the largest Seabass you will ever see. I will fish wrecks, rocks and other bottom structure to find these fish. You will often be fishing deep water anywhere from 100ft to 350ft depending on the season. Limit catches of Jumbo Seabass are common. Expect your arms to be sore after this one!

TILEFISH      Prices start at $1300

Tilefishing has been around for a long time however it's recently gaining popularity with the recreational fisherman. Expect deep water, heavy weights and lots of cranking! We fish depths starting at 350ft and will go as deep as 1000ft. Spectra line is a must! We will fish as far East as the Hudson Canyon and as far South as the Baltimore Canyon. Tilefishing can be done year round for all of you hardy anglers.

COD & POLLOCK   Prices start at $1000

Although hard to find in our local waters, Capt. Bill will run to the fish. This is strictly winter fishing and usually starts in late January and ends up in April and is best when the water is the coldest. We will be anywhere from 30 to 50 miles from the inlet in waters as deep as 180ft. You will also encounter seabass, ling as well as other cold water fish.

FLY RODDERS

Yes, its true; Capt. Bill is an expert fly fisherman. I started 15 years ago practicing my casting every day outside and then took it to the water. I used to exclusively fly fish, but now I drive the boat! I have caught dozens of Yellowfin Tuna up to 86lbs. I landed my first Yellowfin on fly in 1994 at age 16! Perhaps the youngest angler in the world at the time to ever accomplish such a feat!
I will turn basically any trip I offer into a Fly Fishing trip. Some may be tough, but if you're willing then so am I!
